Ways to help keep children learning during the COVID-19 pandemic – Elementary age kids.

Another tip would be to make learning as interactive as possible, especially for younger children such as ages 5 through 13. Typically, younger students find it harder to concentrate if they are forced to sit at the same desk all day for hours on end, and such a system will not positively enforce active learning.

Parents can alleviate this by finding ways to interact with their children throughout the day, maybe by changing rooms every hour, or by learning outside when the weather is nice. Although this is an unprecedented time, there are many ways for parents to help their children keep learning.
